A-T-L Designer Keith A. Brown has the
Grammy touch!
The same creative vision that
allowed Atlanta based clothing designer Keith A. Brown
to establish his own label has propelled him into wardrobe styling
for music videos and feature films.
His
"touch" has been commanded by record labels such Laface Records,
MCA, Elektra, and Universal. His most talked about project to
date is his styling efforts for the 2002 Grammy Award winning
and Platinum selling group OutKast,
whose Stankonia CD won two Grammy's for Best Rap Performance By
A Duo Or Group and Best Rap Album. Keith served as the projects
lead prop stylist.
In addition to his roster, he recently completed the highly anticipated
jazz/blues artist Cassandra
Wilson's latest effort, "Belly of the Sun", where he served
as the lead wardrobe stylist, due out March 2002, followed up
as the head stylist for new MCA artist Nine20, whose project is
due out this summer.
Designing an eclectic mix of classic silhouettes with exquisite
fabrics, his styles have redefined couture. From high profile
pop artists such as OutKast, jazz and blues singer Cassandra Wilson;
to underground platinum artists such as Three Six Mafia; his roster
has become as diverse as his personality.
In
a word...the name Keith A. Brown has become synonymous
with a particular "lifestyle." Keith began his career with such
corporate fashion giants as Esprit de' Corps and Marithe' & Francois
Girbaud.
Since 1994, Keith has been designing under his own label Keith
A. Brown. As a fashion designer he has created an environment
whereby his clothes have become a representation of what's hip
in the entertainment industry.

The
Hushbox Lounge Is Born
With the cultural
landscape looking as it does these days in Atlanta, Hushbox founder
and Atlanta based clothing designer Keith A. Brown, affectionately
known as "Kebo", has set out on a mission to create change,
by talking less and doing more, with a new social concept called
the "Hushbox Lounge".
Kebo says, "The
Hushbox Lounge is a vibe, a social gathering that is driven by cultural
diversity and conversation and for the global and culturally rich".
"With
the cultural landscape looking as it does these days, it's important
not to continue just having dialogue, but to embrace and celebrate
our uniqueness'".
The
Hushbox Lounge is designed to create atmosphere & ambiance in a
non-club environments that satisfies many of our social needs. While
doing so, unique marketing and sampling opportunities for companies
present itself with a culturally and racially diverse mixture of
200-300, 27-40 year old progressive and sophisticated people.
On
August 26, 2001 The Hushbox presented the very first Hushbox Lounge
with Seagram's America as it's sponsor, at VisionarieSpa, a 4-story
Japanese style bungalow in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. Its Japanese
architecture provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of stimulating
exchange of ideas, coupled with the down tempo music selection that
enhanced the vibe. Please see the links below.
