Peter, Paul and Mary. Peter, Paul and Mary were one of the most successful folk-music trios from the 60s. With catchy and timeless hits such as “Puff the Magic Dragon” and “Leaving On A Jet Plane,” it’s hard to get the timeless sounds out of your head and heart. For many years, the trio was at the forefront of the civil rights movement and other causes that promoted social justice.  In 1970, Peter, Paul and Mary dismembered, but in 1978, they reunited for a concert to protest nuclear energy and have been recording and touring together ever since.  Join Classic Chastain as they present the "best of" from one of the most durable music acts in history.

Brenda Lee with Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs. One of music’s first female stars and a Georgia native, Brenda Lee has been recording for nearly 50 years. A hot summer stage should be an interesting setting for the voice that made “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree” as essential as the tree itself. Kenny Loggins joins the stellar lineup this summer at Classic Chastain summer concert series for an evening that will make you miss the days of shoulder pads, tight-rolled jeans, and big hair.

Macy Gray and the Brand New Heavies. GRAMMY award winning, neo-soulstress Macy Gray, knows a thing or two about the element of surprise. From an accidental introduction into the music business to a brilliant start into a promising film and television career, as long as she puts her heart into it, it’s golden. For her most recent release, “BIG,” Macy Gray invited a round table of heavy hitters to contribute on the record. The Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am and Fergie, Justin Timberlake, and Natalie Cole all had their hands in the pot and cooked up a diverse album that has made Macy Gray one happy woman that's sure to give larger than life BIG performance. Classic Chastain is proud to present Travis Tritt - a high octane country show that is sure to get the crowd shakin’ in their boots.  Leave your coolers at home, because Classic Chastain is clearing out the tables to make room for the GRAMMY Award winning country music star that is one of Georgia’s own.  Tritt, the Peach State’s  country music pride and joy, has been churning out hits since 1989 and holds a special place in the hearts of country music fans all over the world. Tritt is currently working on a new record that is due this summer and is produced by his friend and co-host of American Idol Randy Jackson.

The Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman and Brian Culberston reunited with Steve Cole. Traveling around the world while playing the music they love is just what the Rippington’s dreamt they’d always be doing. 2007 marks 20 years of living the dream. Smooth Jazz experts, The Rippington’s have been on the frontline of modern Jazz since their 1989 full-length debut “Moonlighting.” For the bands 20th year anniversary, The Rippington’s have reunited most of the original L.A. musicians who performed on “Moonlighting” and are hitting the road in 2007 for a smooth ride down memory lane. Jazz keyboardist Brian Culberston gracefully joins the Rippington’s at the 2007 Classic Chastain summer concert series.

Boney James and Musiq Soulchild. Urban Jazz icon, Boney James, most recently released his tenth record, Shine. For his latest effort, James played the role of saxophonist, songwriter, producer, and occasionally mad scientist. Shine features collaborations with Hip-hop diva Faith Evans, Jazz-guitar icon George Benson, R&B vocalists Dwele and Phillip Bailey, and keyboard master George Duke, among others.  Soulfully getting the night into groove is R&B star, Musiq Soulchild who most recently reintroduced himself to his fans with his latest record LUVANMUSIQ.
