Peter, Paul and Mary. Peter, Paul and Mary were one of the most successful folk-music trios from the 60s. The Rippingtons featuring Russ Freeman and Brian Culberston reunited with Steve Cole. Traveling around the world while playing the music they love is just what the Rippington’s dreamt they’d always be doing. 2007 marks 20 years of living the dream. Smooth Jazz experts, The Rippington’s have been on the frontline of modern Jazz since their 1989 full-length debut “Moonlighting.” For the bands 20th year anniversary, The Rippington’s have reunited most of the original L.A. musicians who performed on “Moonlighting” and are hitting the road in 2007 for a smooth ride down memory lane. Boney James and Musiq Soulchild. Urban Jazz icon, Boney James, most recently released his tenth record, Shine. For his latest effort, James played the role of saxophonist, songwriter, producer, and occasionally mad scientist.
