ABSOLUTELY HUSHBOX
On Thursday November 2, 2001
Hushbox.com in conjunction with Revlon and Absolut
presented
a launch party for Absolutely Fabulous ...
Revlon's Lip Cream at the W ATLANTA.

The event was co-hosted by Kebo,
the creative brain trust and publisher
of Hushbox.com, along with Marcellus
Lewis from Iconoclast, and was produced
by Menelik. Music was provided by Dj Boombip.

Think of this as an eclectic Thursday evening
social-cocktail party for 300 that embraces the
same spirit as a Sunday evening social under the
Hushbox Lounge banner, cultural diversity and
conversation for the global and culturally rich.

Female guest were encouraged to slip into their
glamest little numbers, strap on their
highest stilettos and make the men swoon...
From the looks of the pictures below, they did.

Last night's party was off the meter! Your events are bringing a new element to Atlanta nightlife,
where people actually have to connect with each other instead of the spitting the usual club lines.
You and your peeps made everybody feel welcome. Even brothas with defective cameras. :-)
I'm getting spoiled.

I thought that the event @ the W was real intimate and relaxed. The lighting was great, the music was smooth, (especially when Sade came on)and overall, I had a great time. I don't usually know about events like these, and would like to know more. Thank you for the free drinks, and the good atmosphere.

I really dug that scene and I would be down with another set like that anytime

Kebo, as always, the reason I attend HUSHBOX sponsored events is because of the cultural eclecticism.... and those fly-ass brothers in Keith A. Brown Designs clothes....

Love the W - great space - and enjoyed the "New York vibe" of taking over the lobby.

Well Mr. Brown, I must say that last Thursday evening was very cozy and exciting. I had an opportunity to finally meet you, as I have heard so many great things about you from several different sources. I look forward to you and Marcellus hosting events possibly in the future. Keep up the excellent work.

Faithfully, ...Angela Clifton
