2003 Hushbox Experiences

The Hushbox 10 & A Great day In Atlanta. On May 21, 2003, The Hushbox in conjunction with Martell presented GRAZE Introducing The Hushbox 10 and the unveiling of "A Great Day In Atlanta." at VENUE on lambert, 800 Lambert Drive. This was an evening of "grazing" that celebrated and recognized 10 "movers and shakers" from the Atlanta community from the worlds of media, art, photography, music and culture, alongside their peers from the community. The evening will also served as the unveiling of the recent work shot by Atlanta photographer John Crooms, "A Great Day in Atlanta." This series of photographs documents many of the movers and shakers from the Atlanta scene just as "A Great Day in Harlem" did in August 1958. Pictures and photos are here

Nouveau Niche. The Hushbox presents "Nouveau Niche," The Global Lounge, the sophisticated low key in the know alternative kicking off NBA All Star week in Atlanta, Thursday February 6, 2003 @ Commune.

The Poetry Jam: Kiss and Tell. On Saturday night, November 23, 2002, Martell Cognac in conjunction with THE HUSHBOX presented THE POETRY JAM: KISS AND TELL. This event was conceptualized by kebo, founder and publisher of Hushbox.com and it's aim was to bring the best of the underground from down under and to expose Atlanta's finest talent to a more mainstream audience that is thirsty for quality entertainment.

Ritmo Mvndo@ Mednikow. The Hushbox in conjunction with Molly Mednikow, officially declared that the time had come for all Hushbox members to experience the latest Italian sparkle of an Atlanta gem at the official launch of The Ritmo Mvndo Collection.

DMX Fireside Chat. On behalf of myself and my client Hennessy, I want to say THANK YOU to all that attended the DMX "Fireside Chat" on Tuesday November 12, 2002 at Level 3, as well as Thank You to those who had intentions to attend but for whatever reason we not able to. The 7-9 PM portion of the evening was fun filled and a very informative one. DMX, as tired as he was, came and spent quality time speaking about a variety of things as well as answering questions. He even stayed and spent considerable time autographing books.

On Sunday March 24, 2002, Hushbox.com, the virtual vibe for the global and culturally rich, brought to you an Exclusive Hushbox Lounge at VisionarieSpa and introduced The 4th Floor: The Members Lounge with a festive gala that also doubled as a viewing party for the 74th Annual Academy Awards.

The Hushbox Lounge at CAVU. On Sunday, March 03, 2002, the Hushbox Nation joined for another festive gathering of the global and culturally rich, for a "festive" dinner party at CAVU.

Black History Month at Commune. On Sunday, February 10, 2002,the Hushbox presented a special Black History Month Hushbox Lounge©, at Commune, celebrating Black History Month and the new works, As Advertised, by Atlanta based, emerging artist Cedric Smith.

RED. On January 20, 2002, The Hushbox helped 'red' celebrate its grand opening in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, with an EXCLUSIVE Hushbox Lounge.

The Hushbox presents author Richard Rubin. The Hushbox in conjunction with Molly Mednikow of Mednikow Jewelers presented an engaging conversation with the author Richard Rubin and his new book, Confederacy of Silence: A True Tale of the New Old South, on Sunday July 14, 2002 at VisionarieSpa.

2001 Hushbox Experiences

Absolutely Fab! On Thursday November 2, 2001 Hushbox.com in conjunction with Revlon and Absolut presented a launch party for Absolutely Fabulous ... Revlon's Lip Cream at the W ATLANTA. The event was co-hosted by Kebo, the creative brain trust and publisher of Hushbox.com, along with Marcellus Lewis from Iconoclast, and was produced by Menelik. Music was provided by Dj Boombip.

The Hushbox Lounge @ VisionarieSpa
On Saturday, August 26th, Hushbox.com presented the Hushbox Lounge at the beautiful VisionarieSpa in Midtown Atlanta. The Hushbox Lounge is a vibe, also referred to as a social gathering that is driven by cultural diversity and conversation and for the global and culturally rich.

The Trip

The one that started it all. On Saturday 03/24.01, at the A13 Mattress Factory, 290 MLK Jr. Dr., Atlanta, GA., a new excursion began for 1300 guest who attended the maiden voyage of "The Trip". An exciting passage produced and executed by Keith Brown aka kebo of Keith A. Brown Designs and The Hushbox, and conceptualized by Nia Hill, the owner of the Solstice Entertainment group, a company specializing in booking, promoting and marketing artists and co-owner of Strange Fruit Films, along with Phil Polk from the Marketing Department at Coca-Cola presented The "Trip", one of the most inclusive and eclectic events to hit Atlanta.
